The other day I told my 10-year-old daughter I was going to buy her a dustpan. She looked at me with a puzzled expression. I told her it would be a great way for her to clean (i.e. “scoop up”) her room since she likes to play with tiny toys such as Littlest Pet Shop, which inevitably end up all over her floor.
